I had incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, blepharoplasty, and epicanthoplasty with Dr. Suh at Marble. He was the only doctor who recommended epicanthoplasty, and although I hadn’t considered it, I’m so glad I trusted his advice. He was honest about my eye asymmetry and explained he would do his best to make them as even as possible. I’m about 1.5 months post-op and already very happy with the results! Dr. Suh was very attentive, and Heekyung, the in-house translator, was amazing; she thoroughly explained the process and aftercare and answered every single question from the beginning to very end. She even gave me extra gauze and supplies to help with my bruising and swelling. Recovery was quicker than I expected with most of the bruising was gone by day four. There’s still some swelling left, and my left eye remains a bit more swollen than my right but I'm soo happy with my results UPDATE* - I'm now two months post-surgery at Marble. Most of the swelling has gone down, and my eyes are looking more defined yet natural. While one eye is still slightly puffier but I can already see how much more balanced my overall appearance is.

I did Sub-brow lift and Undereye Fat Repositioning with Dr. Suh, he was very patient, very professional, he took his time listening my questions/needs carefully, that made me feel safe to do surgery with him. They have in-house translator and my one was Ms. Heekyung, she was very nice and good at her job until i didn’t need to bring my own. The doctor didn’t force me to do or suggest any unnecessary surgery without me asking, his suggestions were more to natural-looks which I was seeking for. If you want dramatic changes, I believe they can do it as well. I had the same day surgery, it took around 2 hrs for both surgery, I had local anaesthesia and sedation, sub-brow lift was already done when I woke up, under-eye surgery got a lot of pullings and some pain but bearable, recovery time was smooth and easy. Didn’t have any pain from 2nd day onwards, I could start to walk around for sight-seeing and shopping. My surgery was done on 3rd Jun and stitches were removed on 9th Jun, and had red light treatment for swelling for 15 mins. The clinic provided one microwavable ice pack, bought medicines at pharmacy downstairs of the clinic. You can see attached photos for the result. I definitely look fresher and slightly younger. But I wish I requested to cut a bit more skin for Sub-brow lift, feel still a bit sagging. Or maybe this is the best for me. Sub-brow lift - 1.65 mil won Under-eye fat repositioning - 1.65 mil won

Hi fam. I got a non-incisional double eyelid surgery at Marble in Seoul mid April 2025. I am now one month post-op and wanted to share my experience. In early April, I scheduled a consultation at Marble. I first connected with the team via KaKao Talk about 2 weeks prior to going to Seoul. The person I spoke to via KaKao was also the translator I met at the clinic, so this continuity was really great to have. During the consultation, the surgeon reviewed my eyes. The Marble surgeon, Dr. Kim Jun Hyung gave the option to do an incisional surgery, which would last forever, but as I was going to Japan after I wouldn't have an easy way to get the stitches removed. The surgeon used little toothpicks to show me different options for eyelid shapes, which was something I didn’t have the luxury to pick the first time around. He also told me that they would try to take out the old line during my new surgery. I had a few other consultations planned, but because I vibed quite well with the Marble team I decided to cancel the consultation and go with Marble. On the day of the surgery, you are asked not to eat/drink for at least 4 hours prior to surgery, which was totally fine for me. They take you into a little changing room where you’ll get changed into surgical robes with lockers for your stuff. I also met with the surgeon one more time to decide on the final shape, which they drew out with a pen on my eyelid. Soon I was taken to the surgery room. It was a little scary at first as there are restraints to make sure you don’t move excessively during the surgery, but once the anesthesia hit, time went by really fast. The whole process took about 45 min but as the person in the chair it doesn’t feel that long. Afterwards you are taken into a dark room with comfortable chairs. I also got an ice pack to put on my eyes to reduce swelling. Once the surgery ended, I was pretty much immediately able to move around and get back to exploring Seoul. Of course my eyes were puffy and red but in Gangnam it really isn’t uncommon at all for people who just got plastic surgery to be walking around. If you can bring a friend for emotional support that would be best, but even alone it shouldn’t be a big deal! I rested a little bit earlier than the rest of my travel days but other than that the surgery did not hinder any of my travel plans. During the first few days, I was asked to use the ice pack to reduce swelling. During this time as the swelling gradually decreased I did form bruising in my eyelids, which went through the usual colors of purple -> red -> yellow. These went away around the 1 week mark. I’ve posted some photos below with key time points up till today. Finally as a wrap up, I will say that for the first week or so post-op, sometimes in the morning, the shape of one eyelid was higher than the other. I think this was just morning puffiness because they looked more even by the afternoon. Also there is one needle point that is slightly visible when I close my eyes. Maybe it will go away over time? None of these are deal-breakers for me. I’m so happy to have even and pretty (to me) eyes again.

Dr Suh from Marble Plastic Surgery was very detailed, considered and professional throughout the entire consultation and surgery itself. I had an incisional double eyelid surgery with ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty, which was recommended by Dr Suh. It’s currently 2 weeks after the operation, and I’m very pleased with the result. The initial swelling and bruising has settled with some mild redness remaining at the epicanthoplasty site. I'm excited to see the progress in the coming months. My before and after are attached below. 21/11/24 Update: - It is now 4 weeks post the operation and I am still happy with the progress. The swelling has reduced further, and opening my eyes feels effortless. I'm still waiting for the epicanthoplasty site to completely heal over with no residual redness - there's still some mild redness/lumps/bumps, but this seems to be easing with time too. 10/01/25 Update: - My final update on the double eyelid surgery - I'm extremely happy with the result, and am now able to add cosmetic lash extensions as well (as pictured). The incisional scar is visible when I close my eyes, however it is faint and causes no harm to day to day functioning.

3.5 months post op - DES & ptosis correction with under eye fat repositioning I went for surgery mid November and it’s been 14 weeks since my eyelid surgery. My main concern was my right eye’s fold getting droopier than before, causing my eyes to look uneven. I also wanted to try under eye fat repositioning because I also wanted to address the dark circles, hollowness, and a wrinkle line. The consultation started on WhatsApp with a consultant who was fluent in English. She was very friendly and provided quick responses to all of my questions, despite the time difference (I’m from Canada). My questions were all addressed the day of or the following day during their business hours. I went with Marble PS because their other reviews online were good overall and they had some good before and after photos. They also gave me the best quote and I liked their consultation the most. After finally making it to Korea and having the in person consultation with Dr. Suh, I felt reassured and confident in moving forward with the procedure the next day. Dr. Suh was really attentive and patient throughout the entire process. He made sure to address all of my concerns and answered any questions I had. I found that Dr. Suh focuses more on natural-looking outcomes rather than dramatic changes and if he believes a requested procedure is unnecessary or a bad idea, he will let you know. I find this important when choosing the right surgeon because this shows that they actually care. He used a toothpick to show me a few options for the creases and I went with the highest he could go without giving me “sausage eyes”. Surgery day: Even though I had an idea of what to expect based on my friends’ experiences and what the consultant explained to me, it was still reallyyy intense lol. I remember getting put under and then all of a sudden I felt like I was going through a vortex and these colourful walls were closing in. Then after that part was over, all I could see was black and I could hear Dr. Suh speaking to the nurse and the tools they were using. I felt the tugging but it wasn’t painful, not until near the end, that was when it started to feel a little bit uncomfortable. During the surgery, Dr. Suh asked me to open and blink my eyes numerous times. I could tell he was very attentive to details because he went back and forth on both eyes many times and did not stop until he was finally satisfied. He explained later that he spent more time for my procedure because it was really asymmetrical due to one of the muscles being a lot stronger and he wanted to make it as symmetrical as possible. After I was done, I was brought into the resting area and the consultant allowed me to stay for however long I needed. She checked in and made sure I was okay before I left. All of the staff at Marble PS were very friendly, especially the team that dealt with the foreign clients. Many thanks to my consultant, who was absolutely delightful and made me felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Overall, I am pleased with my DES results so far. My left eye is healing a little bit slower than my right, but apparently that is normal. Most say the final results aren’t settled until at least 6 months and for some even up to a year. As for the under eye fat repositioning, they did mention that the procedure won’t correct the colour pigmentation, so I was aware of that. The procedure did not fix my dark circles, but I did notice more volume at the 2 months mark. They said it can also take a few months for it to settle so I will see in a couple of more months if that procedure was actually worth it. Overall, it was a good experience and I am glad I chose Marble PS for my procedures!
