I have never really had problems with any other branch of Abijou (Hongdae, Myeongdong) but this was probably the most stressful consultation experience I’ve had here. The consultation was incredibly fast-paced, dismissive, and stressful and I felt bad for the translator who was struggling to keep up. I felt like she just wanted us out of the room. I was shocked at her attitude and her general manner towards myself, my mom, and the translator. I felt like this place wasn’t super equipped for English speakers, specifically. The service itself (facial) was okay, but I’ve done it at other branches and found it much more calm and relaxing. It was really loud in that room so it was hard to relax, and the lights were all on. I think there are other branches you could rather go to.

I had a great experience getting my skin care taken care of. Every one was so nice and respectful and the whole staff was very professional. They organized the appointment within a short notice of few hours. Joon was helping me out from the very beginning and has done a tremendous job. Highly recommend.

I’m a regular client here and have tried multiple treatments, from basic to premium, especially during event promotions. I also work in this industry, so I understand how proper consultation and service should be handled. I also visit several clinics depending on their offers, and I have never experienced this level of disrespect elsewhere. During my last visit, I came in looking very simple and tired, and the difference in attitude was obvious. The consultant treated me in a dismissive and judgmental way, which made me feel looked down on. This is unacceptable in any professional setting. Ironically, the only person who treated me properly was the practitioner who did my injection — they clearly explained the procedure and were professional. The clinic has good event offers, but the service quality, especially at the consultation stage, is lacking. What’s disappointing is that I have recommended this place to many friends and foreign clients before. They likely gained customers through my referrals. After this experience, I can no longer recommend this clinic. Service should never depend on how a client looks on a given day.

As someone visiting from the states it was very easy to book an appointment and the staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable! We had staff help us with English translation the entire time which was wonderful. The clinic itself was very clean and modern and the botox I got for my TMJ was a fantastic deal compared to the states.

I did Potenza with Juvelook here. The process was quick and fuss-free, and everything moved efficiently. However, the clinic encourages clients to write reviews in exchange for free procedures, which is something potential patients should be aware of. Despite being a factory-style clinic, I didn’t find the prices particularly cheap. Personally, I think paying slightly more elsewhere would get you better overall service, so I wouldn’t recommend this clinic and will be going to other clinics in the future. My experience was that there was no thorough skin analysis, and the recommendations felt generic rather than tailored to my skin concerns. The consultation itself was not done by the doctor performing the procedure — the consultant assessing your skin and suggesting treatments is not a doctor, and a different doctor carries out the actual treatment. This made the experience feel less personalised and less reassuring. Because it’s a factory clinic, treatments are done in cubicle-style spaces rather than private rooms, which may not suit everyone. Communication was also an issue — the English translator was not very proficient, with frequent grammatical errors. If you speak Chinese, communication may be better, as the Chinese translators are native speakers.
