I got an eyelid revision surgery done by Dr. Kim Sang Il and I am extremely satisfied with my results. He is extremely skilled in his field and has exceeded my expectations. My experience from the initial consultation to post surgery has been excellent. The clinic also provides after care to decrease swelling post op. Big thank you to both Dr. Kim Sang Il and my interpreter which made the entire process run smoothly. I feel very welcomed and couldn't be happier!

I had my rhinoplasty with Dr. Cho 1 month ago and I'm so happy with the results. Being a newer clinic with not much info online, it definitely felt like taking a leap of faith to go with Dr. Cho. What really sold me was a YouTube video where he broke down what makes a good nose, which included specific details like nostril angle, columella height or broadness of the nose tip - not just the typical “small tip, tall bridge, 100 degree angle”. He is so meticulous and you can really sense that he takes pride in his work. His before and after photos certainly showed that he had the skills to back it up. I finally have the nose I've always wanted which suits my face and balances out my other features. All the staff at the clinic were very pleasant, especially the consultant I worked with who was very patient and took the time to understand my concerns, relaying them accurately to Dr. Cho. I also feel so blessed to have had the interpreter I worked with, she always made sure I was safe and comfortable. She even sent a box of pumpkin juice to my hotel after surgery! I wish the best for VAVA and hope they succeed so more people can have positive experiences as medical tourists in Korea.

I visited Korea from Canada because i wanted to get a lower bleph surgery to remove the hollowness and bulging bump when i smiled. There was no makeup that could hide that part of my eyes! I spoke to the interpreter Annette beforehand to do a telephone consultation and i sent in my pictures and she told me that i was a good candidate for the lower bleph with external incision - they also redistributed the fat i had under my eyelids to fill in the hollowness. My eyelids were too baggy to be a candidate for non incisional. I scheduled my surgery with Dr. Cho Sung Eun and booked a flight to Korea for 8 days. Normally you can remove stitches by day 7 but i asked if i could have mine removed by day 6 and they were ok with this. It is now day 21 after my surgery and i could not be happier with the results! Day 1 i looked beat up because i was swollen in my upper eyelid and lower and everything felt tender and i felt alot of pressure in the eyes but honestly by day 2 it was pretty normal, there was still a bit of discomfort but much better than i expected and i still went out with my bandages and shopped and honestly no one even cared! it was as if my bandages and surgery was so normal. If i knew how easy this surgery was and how much of a difference i would see - i would've considered doing this in my 20's instead of waiting till my late 30's. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr Cho Sung Eun, he was so nice and gentle and did an amazing job! Annette made me feel comfortable before, during and after the surgery she was great!! She ordered me some pumpkin juice so i could heal quicker and i think it worked because my eyes looks so much better - i don't look tired anymore! I also don't even need concealer after the surgery, the eye area is so much brighter! Thank you Vava PS!

I recently visited Korea from the US and wanted to address loss of volume and multiple folds in my eye. My journey started after posting my concern on the Unni app forum where Dr. Cho Sungeun from VAVA Clinic personally responded to my post in a kind and informative way. It caught my attention and made me more interested in the clinic. I was deciding between a few clinics but ultimately decided on VAVA. In my research, I watched all of VAVA’s TikTok and YouTube videos and found the head doctors to be both knowledgeable and personable. I also really liked their surgery results and style. Another major factor in my decision was the amazing support from their English-speaking rep, Annette who was so helpful and patient throughout the whole process. A few months before the surgery I received an online consultation by sending a photo and video of my eyes. Dr. Cho reviewed them and provided a general treatment plan. We then planned to have an in person consult before the actual surgery. On the day of my surgery, the clinic itself was spotless and modern, and all the staff were friendly. I had a thorough consultation with Dr. Cho and it was clear to me that he really cares about his patients and takes pride in his clinic. I had a change in surgery plan after the in-person consultation which lengthened my surgery time by an hour. The doctor had consultations booked during that time but the team was able to move things around to accommodate for me, which I was really thankful for. Afterwards, I went straight into surgery. Annette followed up with me before and after the procedure, picked up medications for me, and even sent me pumpkin juice to help with swelling. A week after surgery, I returned for a post-op check with Dr. Cho and had my stitches removed by the nurse who was gentle and quick. I also had the option for an anti-swelling shot and red light therapy (included in initial cost) which I appreciated. Overall, I’m happy with my results and my experience at VAVA Clinic! I’m still waiting for swelling to go down completely (takes a few months) but I am already satisfied with my results and my concern was fully addressed. I highly recommend Dr. Cho and the team at VAVA.
