I had rhinoplasty here. The primary goal was to improve my sagging columella and sunken philtrum, maximizing the nasolabial angle. This was why I was so determined to get the surgery done. For three months after the surgery, my philtrum was significantly protruding, but over time, it returned to its original sag. When I asked about my progress, the director explained that my nose was already significantly elevated before surgery, so they couldn't pull it up much. Then, during the pre-operative consultation, the doctor should have explained the patient's nose's limitations and limitations as objectively and accurately as possible. During the consultation, he showed me a significantly improved nose using Photoshop, leading me to believe I could achieve that level of improvement. Later, he told me I wasn't qualified to achieve that level of improvement, which was truly disconcerting. It was obvious that my nose was already quite high, but if he had objectively explained the limits of how much could be achieved compared to a low nose, the patient would have had more realistic expectations and considered the surgery more carefully. Then, the doctor said he had slightly raised the nasolabial angle. The patient hadn't spent a lot of money and endured months of recovery just to achieve that, so the constant refusal to do so was even more hurtful. He also emphasized the word "a little," saying, "I did my best." From the patient's perspective, it was understandable that he could have done much better, but he said he only raised it a little. It was understandable that the patient might have misunderstood. +After the surgery, he asked me to tell him what was lacking while observing the progress, and when I said that I really wanted to increase the angle of the nose a few months later, the director said, "You don't have to do it, you don't have to do it," and ignored the patient's subjective standards, saying that it was appropriate in his opinion, and kept cutting me off and trying to end the conversation.
